IREN is a project based, bilingual school right outside Tamarindo.   
We are an educational alternative to more traditional schools in Tamarindo. 
We are offering small groups, with a larger focus on the individual child.
Kids explore science, Spanish, reading and the love of learning while surrounded by 33 acres of lush forest. 
All our workshops are project based and interest driven.

Five one-week sessions starting June 27.
Discover your passions in our state of the art studios in the centre of Barcelona.

Each week you can choose a project and our studio guides will help you make it come alive. You can keep it or set up a stall at the summer camp marketplace on Fridays to try and sell your creations!

As well as taking advantage of the amazing spaces of the Urban Hub, once a week we will go on a new field trip to explore Barcelona.

We rotate the projects so learners can experiment with different areas of interest every week. Learners from ages 12-17 can come for single or multiple weeks.

Welcome to Thailand! Our Thai-American family would love to help you explore Thailand, showing you our absolute favorite places and hidden gems that make Thailand such a special place. Our world school hub is located in Thailand, but unlike other worldschool hubs that are located in one spot, we offer traveling hubs so that you can keep the same community while seeing more of the country! Explore is part world school community, part travel program. We not only create an environment designed to foster long-term relationships between worldschooling families, but we also treat our traveling hub programs like an intimate family travel program. We highlight the "best of" in each location, organize outings and weekend getaways, host experts to teach Thai culture classes, and teach our own worldschool-themed signature classes! The 2023 program locations include: Bangkok, Udon Thani, Phuket, and Hua Hin.

We welcome Explorers ages 7-18 for our regular program, and a special mini program for Little Explorers ages 3-6. Younger siblings are welcome to come along for the ride with parent supervision. To help foster strong family bonds and community building, we do ask one parent or guardian to attend our Expeditions and Excursions with their child(ren). 

Our heart-felt desire is that your whole family will leave our program(s) with a deep love for Thailand and its people, and a heart full with incredible friends and memories!

Explore World School Thailand

The program nurtures and cultivates children’s innate curiosity and love of learning while, guiding them in development of their basic reading, writing, math and computer skills. The approach is interdisciplinary and experiential, with critical thinking skills and the arts integrated into the curriculum at all levels. Field trips and outdoor education experiences enhance the program.

The Summit Montessori School

In our space we do not teach, but each child will create their own experiences, whether academic, personal or professional, or decide if they want to participate in those we put at their disposal. They will take the steps they consider necessary in their learning process when they feel intrinsically prepared / motivated for it.

At the Semillas en el Viento local you can take language classes, workshops of different artistic, culinary disciplines, etc.

The space is free in the afternoons and has tables, chairs,
indoor and outdoor spaces for you to do activities.

We have Japanese cooking classes scheduled in August,
Japanese and English classes for adults from September and music classes and school reinforcement.

​We also have an urban garden available to the community who wants to participate in its care and benefit.
