We believe in mixed-age learning environments, self-direction, and being inspired by each other and by our environment. We draw tools from a variety of recognized sources but, ultimately, we are an Agile Learning Center (ALC). Core Program: Monday to Thursday 12h to 16h We meet Monday to Wednesday afternoons at our home base near Várzea de Sintra. On Thursdays we have excursion afternoons, run in the spirit of self-direction, where we meet in various locations around the Cascais/Sintra/Lisboa area. The outdoor club meets Friday afternoons for 2 hours at various location in the area. The activities depend on the weather and the kids’ interests & skills and include kayaking, rock climbing, surfing, SUP, mountain biking, trail running, natural gymnastics, and more. ** This club is available at a separate cost.
